(MCC) submits the enclosed amendment to the Dry Fork and
Lions Mesa Notice of Intent to Explore, submitted April 20, 2005. This amendment address the
reclamation of the laydovvn and storage azea pad at the intersection of USFS unpaved roads 701 and
711. This pad serves to support all exploration drill holes.
A pazagraph summarizing the reclamation plans of this proposed pad has been inserted into the
Notice of Intent to Explore document on page 13, last paragraph. The inserted text is presented
below:
"Reclamation of the laydown and storage area located at the intersection of USFS roads
710 and 711 will begin once use of the pad is no longer needed to support exploration-
drilling activities. The disturbed acreage is 0.48 acres. As there is a lack of topsoil at the
Zaydown and storage area, due to pre-exploration use by recreational enthusiasts, the
top layer of the pad will be scarified with the gravels being hauled and disposed of off-
site. The area will then be mulched, fertilized, and seeded in accordance with the Paonia
Ranger District Seed Mix. All reclamation activities will follow the Reclamation Plan
guidelines above. "
The amended document is submitted with this letter.
We appreciate your consideration and careful review of this submittal and, as always, would be
happy to work with you to address any questions or concerns that azise during the review process.
--~..~
Henry
Engineer
