(Page 2} <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: ~L-1999-n9R <br />INSPECTION DATE: ~N~V~d INSPECTOR' S INITIALS: KAP <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection was conducted as part of the 4-year monitoring program in the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology. Present at the inspection were Kate Pickford, DMG, and Connie Davis and Mike MacAfee, <br />Aggregate Industries -WCR, Inc. Weather at the time of the inspection was clear, calm, and <br />approximately 45 degrees. <br />2. A sign is posted at the entrance to the site and the boundaries are marked. Cell 4 is currently being <br />mined and 18 acres of Cell 4 have been graded and reclaimed. Settling ponds are installed at the site. <br />Areas of the site support wildlife including deer and wild turkeys. Monitoring welts located to the north <br />of the site have dropped approximately 2.5 feet since the operation started. These impacts may be a <br />result of the irrigation ditch in that area having been moved. <br />3. Operations and activities at the site appear to be within the parameters of the permit and within the <br />rules and regulations.
