1.~ M N <br />INSPECTION REPORT - PAGE 2 <br />FILE N0. M-77-132 <br />DATE: February 12, 1986 <br />OBSERVATIONS OF IMPORTANCE: <br />1. No mining activity has occurred on site for at least two years. <br />2. Abundant equipment is present on site. We were informed that limited <br />production may commence as early as next week. <br />3. The last inspection report stated that the operator needs to provide the <br />following items: <br />a. A map which complies with Rule 2.12 of the Mineral Rules and <br />Regulations, clearly depicting permit boundaries and the actual extent <br />(acres) of disturbance; <br />b. Estimates of present site slope gradients at various locations along <br />the pit boundaries; <br />c. Estimates of topsoil stockpile volumes (cubic yards); and <br />d. Updated reclamation costs. <br />4. The operator was required to respond to these issues within 60 days. No <br />response has been received to date. <br />5. Due to snow cover, an estimate of topsoil volumes could not be made. <br />6. Approximately 20 acres have been disturbed at the site. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />1. The operator is required to respond to last report requirements within 30 <br />days to avoid immediate enforcement action. See item 3 above for itemized <br />requirements. <br />itmb <br />Doc.
