~ • IPage 21 • <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # <br />INSPECTION DATE 1014199 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS WHE <br />M"95"p57 <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection occurred as part of DMG's routine monitoring plan for permitted operations. <br />Warren Wilcox, with Gunnison Gravel, accompanied the DMG inspector throughout the inspection. <br />The Rudibaugh Pit is approved for 9.9 acres affected area. DMG holds S 1,500 financial warranty. <br />Material processing, crushing, was active at the site. Affected lands were visually estimated at <br />approximately 6 acres. <br />Signs & Markers Mine identification sign was posted at the mine entrance. Perimeter of affected <br />area was sufficiently delineated. Affected lands were located within approved areas. Mine <br />entrance road was gravel surfaced and appeared well maintained. Public access to the permit area <br />is controlled by locked gate. <br />Facilities Mining equipment appeared to be mobile in nature and included crusher and conveyors, <br />dozers, backhoes and trucks. Permanent structures were not observed. Various material <br />stockpiles were located on the pit floor. Affected areas appeared stable, evidence of excessive <br />erosion and/or sedimentation to affected areas and surrounding areas was not observed. Evidence <br />of affected lands and/or material stockpiles being infested by noxious weeds was not observed. <br />Reclamation Plan Permit documents indicate that approximately 85% of the affected lands would <br />be reclaimed to support residential, ranch yard, and winter feeding type land use. Such areas <br />would be graded to approximate 2% slope, draining to the west, no topsoil replacement and no <br />revegetation. However, the outer boundaries of the affected lands would be maintained at <br />approximately 2H:1 V to 3H:1 V slopes and revegetated with the seed mix approved in the permit. <br />Financial Warranty DMG has completed a preliminary review of the current cost of reclamation <br />and has determined that the existing 51,500 financial warranty is sufficient to ensure reclamation. <br />DMG current reclamation cost estimation totaled 51,663.
