.~ <br />INSPECTION REPORT - PAGE 2 <br />FILE N0. 83-139 <br />DATE: January 15, 1985 <br />OBSERVATIONS OF IMPORTANCE: <br /> <br />1. Entrance to site at top of hill just north of Tucker Lake. <br />2. Power line transverses property through middle going from south to <br />north. Another power line along east boundary. <br />3. Adolph Coors has lease with landowner to bring wastewater from beer <br />operations to site. Once mining commences, Coors to no longer use pond <br />structure at site. <br />4. Well to a depth of approximately 1,100 feet into old underground mine <br />workings in southwest corner. Power lines go to this well and Public Service <br />Company services well via road entering proposed site of southwest corner. <br />5. Site is predominantly flat in nature and gently slopes to the north. <br />Reclaimed slopes to mirror image present conditions but about 20 foot <br />reduction in elevation. <br />6. Site heavily grazed with grasses grazed to ground level. Only visible <br />plant is yucca. <br />1. Operation to upgrade current access road off of Highway 93 with 300 foot <br />swing out to the north near current junction of access road a Highway 93. <br />8. Small ditch in middle of property to route water to northern holding <br />pond to be obliterated by mining activities. Due to nature of reclaimed <br />slopes, it is not necessary to re-establish this ditch structure. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />PVOC/pjh <br />cc: Mr. Gilbert Rindahl <br />Doc. No. 6852 <br />
