Fish Creek borehole is not planned for the near future. The operator has
been following its weekly field conductivity monitoring at site 1005 (and
other sites on Trout Creek, Middle Creek, and Fish Creek).
Ponds C, E, F, and G (along Foidel Creek, in the surface facilities area)
appeared to contain little or no water beneath the snowcover.
Processing Waste
No problems were found on the east face of the refuse pile where a gully
was reported in the consultant's 3~d quarter 2002 refuse pile report.
Although snowcover limited inspection, the gully appears to have been
repaired. The operator's representative, Sandra White, explained that the
gully was graded out shortly after the report was issued.
Support Facilities
I inspected the P.M. bay where waste is stored in 55-gallon drums. There
appears to be no more than about 60 drums, which is consistent with
Twentymile's Spill Control Plan. No spills were found.
4
