(Page 3)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-1985.003
INSPECTION DATE. 312312006 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: CMR. HHP
Reclamation Plan and make the case for keeping the slopes on the east and south side as a
they are. The inspection revealed that while the pond and nearby berm/levee slopes are
greater then 3:1, the areas have good vegetative production (willows, cottonwoods, grasses,
etc) that could effectively control erosion from wind, rain, and waves. Were vegetative
production is not as well established, along the west and northern side of the pond, the slopes
would still need to be graded to a slope of 3:1 or less.
• The affected area within the mine permit boundaries were not well marked. This was problem
noted in the last inspection as well. This is particularly a problem in an area along the western
edge of the site were the mining activities maybe close to the affected area boundary. The
affected area within the permitted mine require boundary markers (Minerals Rules and
Regulation 3.1.12 (2)).
