A site inspection of the State Line Ranch Pit was matle as part or the Division's on-going 4-year inspection program. <br />sparsely populated, fairly remote location in the north end of Jackson County. <br />2. The State Line Ranch Pit is permitted for 7 acres. There no excavation at the time of inspection, although the pit does <br />appear to be active. The current disturbance is less than 2 acres. There is an excavation into a hillside resulting in a 1:1 <br />slope approximately 20' high and 175 feet in length. There is also approximately 1.0 acre of pit floor disturbance. All <br />disturbances were within the permit area and will be reclaimed to rangeland. The operator has posted a performance <br />warranty. No financial warranty is required for this operation per Rule 4.1.2(2). <br />3. The site entrance sign was difficult to read and locate.
