COMMENTS - C <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include d~scussron of observations made during <br />the rnspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the rnspecton and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of Minerals <br />and Geology. The Rimrock Mine consists of approximately seven acres of reclamation. The <br />2004 growing season rs the eleventh (11) growing season after reseeding. The ground was dry <br />and the weather was very mild for early fall. At the gate I met a representative from the local <br />power company. They were preparing to erect a new power line for a nearby development <br />called Soldier's Ridge. The power line will be located near the gate to the mine site according <br />to this individual <br />~drologrc_Balance <br />The permanent sediment pond at the site was dry. The trickle tube spillway was clear of debris <br />and the emergency spillway appeared in good condition.
