Comments also describe any
enforcement actions taken during the. inspection and the facts or evidence
supporting the enforcement action.
This was a partial inspection of the Coal Ridge Mine conducted by Erica Crosby
of DMG. No company representative was present during the inspection. The
Coal Ridge Mine is in reclamation only status. The inspection involved
viewing two aerial photographs taken by Harry Ranney of DMG on March 18, 1997.
Roads The road leading into the Coal Ridge Mine was clear of snow and
appeared passable.
Hydrologic Balance The sediment pond appeared to be dry. Ditches were
noted in the photographs, but could not be assessed. No major erosion
features were noted.
Backfilling & Grading The backfilled and graded area showed no signs of
instability or erosion. The bench terraces appear stable as well as the
portal areas.
