Legislative Declaratioa: Legislative Declaration in Section 34-32.5-102(1) of the Colorado <br />Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials states that "It is the <br />further intent of the general assembly ... to protect and promote the health, safety, and <br />general welfare of the people of this state." It is the policy of the Division of Minerals <br />& Geology to respond to written citizen complaints within 30 days of receipt of the complaint <br />with a site inspection. A site inspection was conducted on April 26, 2001 in accordance with <br />Division policy in order to determine if the operation is in compliance with the requirements <br />of the mining and reclamation plan and the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction <br />of Construction Materials. <br />8. In conclusion, the Division finds no problems at the Longmont Operation.
