The problems should be corrected by the <br />dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considezed by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLENS/POSSI8L8 VIOLATIONS <br />AND <br />CORRSCTIVB ACTION3 <br />DATE <br />The reclamation plan does not adequately address protection of <br />the lateral berm in the event of a flood between the East Rigden <br />Pit (Permit No. M-1979-097) and the Port of Entry Pit (M-1982- PB or PV:PB <br />182) from slides or damage as a result of the mining or TOPIC(S):SG <br />reclamation operations. Under the Construction Material Rules 03-01-04 <br />and Regulations, areas outside of the affected land shall be <br />protected from slides or damage occurring during the mining and <br />reclamation operation (C.R.S. 34-32.5-116 (4)(i)]. <br />CORRSCTIVB ACTION: <br />The operator will need to file a revision to the permit to <br />adequately address stability of the lateral berms where <br />floodwaters enter and leave the East Rigden Pit. Revision must be <br />submitted by March 1, 2004. <br />The mining and reclamation plan does not address the construction pg or PV:PB <br />and reclamation of a low-water crossing across the La Poudre River TOPIC(S):BB <br />to access the Baumgartner parcel. 03-01-04 <br />CORRBCTIVB ACTION: <br />A Technical Revision to the permit must be filed addressing the <br />installation and reclamation of the low-water crossing. Submittal <br />of this revision is due on March 1, 2004. <br />
