III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE ~/ C'-'~j~ .,~0~ P~y~ a~~. a~ ~ Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion o observaitons made during the Inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. This was a partial inspection of the Hayden Gulch Mine conducted by Jim Stark of CDMG. The mine has gone through a Phase I and Phase II Bond Reiease on alt but approximately nine acres. The weather was warm and sunny and the ground was dry. Shrub parcel HG-08 was stable and well vegetated. All of the vegetation was green due to the large amount of precipitation this spring. There were no rills or gullies seen at the time of the inspection. The spring on the south side of parcel HG-08 was not flowing at the time of the inspection (although it does appear as though it has flowed this spring). Pond HG-08 contained water but was not discharging. Shrub Parcel E was also stable and well vegetated. All of the vegetation at parcel E was green and looked good. There were no erosional problems noted at the time of the inspection. Shrub parcel 003 was stable and well vegetated. The vegetation was all green and doing well. There were no erosional problems noted on parcel 003 at the time of the inspection. Pond 003 contained water but was not discharging (and it did not appear that the pond had discharged recently). The 1997 slump area appeared to be stable at the time of the inspection. All of the alignment stakes placed across the slope remained aligned. The area was well vegetated and all of the vegetation was green and appeared to be doing well. There were no erosional problems noted on the slump area. No wildlife was seen on the site at the time of the inspection.
