(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-Anna-nay <br />INSPECTION DATE: nq/16/pa INSPECTOR=S INITIALS: ~9S- <br />1. Apre-operation inspection of the proposed File Pit 112 was conducted. The site is located 2 miles north of Erie, near <br />the intersection of Colorado Highway 52 and WCR 3&1/4. Present during the inspection was ]on File and Peter Wayland. <br />2. The applicant has proposed a Regular 112 Operation for a total of 314.14 permitted acres. The File Pit 112 will <br />encompass an existing 111 permit (M-2003-090) and 110(2} permit. The north end of the proposed site is currently being <br />mined under the existing 111 permit. There is approximately 10.5 acres currently disturbed and excavated to a depth <br />ranging from 5-8'. The applicant has proposed conventional aggregate mining methods using de-watering and dry mining <br />techniques. There will be a maximum disturbance at any one time of 10-15 acres and the operator will employ <br />contemporaneous reclamation techniques. The maximum depth of excavation is estimated to be 30-35'. Approximately <br />106 acres will be mined on the west side of WCR 3&1/4. Approximately 10-15 acres will be mined on the east of WCR <br />3&1/4. The site will be reclaimed to two (2) lined water storage facilities of 60 acres and 6 acres in size. <br />3. All surface water features and permanent man-made structures within 200 feet of the affected land were inspected. <br />There are a number of gas wells, processors, petroleum storage tanks, and associated gas features throughout the permit <br />area as well as high pressure gas lines and overhead electric lines.
