This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of
Reclamation, Mining. and Safety (Division). This former. contour strip operation is bond
revoked, All remaining funds from the bond revocation at this site were spent in 2004 for
ditch repairs. Inspection frequency is quarterly, with one complete inspection each year.
Ground conditions on this day were damp and muddy rn places with patchy snow in shaded
areas The weather was sunny and mild
Roads
The road leading to the south has been gated at two locations making vehicle access
impossible at this time The new landowner should be contacted for access, especially for
vegetation sampling in the summer of 2008
Hydrolooic Balance
Ponds along the county road in Delaugua Canyon were generally dry. Pond 15-P20 at the
far west end of the reclaimed area is full to capacity ~r~ith sedunent
