Since the first letter that you sent on October 28, 1997, the blasting came to almost a complete
halt. When they would blast, they would notify us and set the'v equipment up outside of our home.
Except for one pretty large blast, none that they measured and that we experienced, were arrything near
what we had previously experienced. Also on different occasions I would ask the gentlemen if they would
like to come inside of our home and experience what we had felt. Each time they declined.
We strongly believe that if this home belonged to you, your engineer with blasting expertise , or any
of the gentlemen at Holnam, that you all would feel very different after experiencing what we felt inside of
our home. We believe that it is very probable that dammage would occur. We are full aware of what
normal settling should take place in a new home. We have also visited with the man who engineered our
foundation, and our contractors to discuss what they felt was normal settling and what they considered to be
excessive.
Since we have moved into our home the surrounding area has grown considerably. Should the pro-
blem reoccur, we could only hope for reinforcement from the growth of new home owners around us. ~At
this time things are very quiet and will hopefully continue to be. Thank you very much for your help in this
matter.
Sincerely,
Norman end Lisa BO~J ~ e
rJ/.. ,.. f~t._ __
~J~O.C1.'~ 7 .O
