<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Sunlight Mine conducted by Erica Crosby of DMG. The mine is a <br />bond forfeiture site, therefore, no company representative was present during the inspection. The <br />inspection involved viewing three aerial photograph taken by Harry Ranney of DMG on May 9, 1997. <br />Hvdroloaic Balance No major erosion features were noted on the reclaimed slopes. The upper <br />diversion ditch appears to be in good repair and functional. <br />Backfillino & Grading The backfilled mine areas show no signs of instability or subsidence. The crib <br />wall condition has not changed since the previous aerial inspection. <br />
