MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-77-526 INSPECTION DATE August 17, 1998 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS TAS The following problems (PB) and/or possible violations (PV) (and suggested corrective actions) were identified during this inspection. The problems should be corrected by the dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all corrective actions taken. PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS CORRECTION DATE 1. There is an infection of noxious weeds on affected September 30, 1998 lands surrounding the northern reclaimed lake. CORRECTIVE MEASURES PB or PV PB Submit a weed control plan for the entire permit area TOPIC(S) RV in the form of a technical revision. The weed control plan should include control methods to be used for diffuse knapweed, Canada or Musk thistle, and any other noxious or pest weed present. The control program should be implemented as soon as possible and should be continued until the infestations have been effectively controlled. 2. The north shore of the water ski lake is unstable in Prior to Financial several areas and has not been graded to a 3:1 slope Warranty Release as required by the reclamation plan. Slopes are approximately 0.25/1. CORRECTIVE MEASURES PB or PV PB Regrade the north shore to a 3:1 slope and stabilize TOPIC(S) RS,SC prior to financial warranty release. 3. The water ski lake contains 65 linear feet of "cut Prior to Financial bank" approximately 4 feet in height. Required Warranty Release slopes are to be 3:1. CORRECTIVE MEASURES PB or PV PB Regrade the cut bank td a 3 :1 slope and stabilize TOPIC(S) RS, SC prior to financial warranty release. (Page 4)
