Operator has started to mine the E-band material on the eastern side of <br />the site. This is the most extreme eastern side of quarry. Production <br />is planned to commence from here again in Aprii 1986, once plant is <br />retrofitted. Currently, only mining A-band material (E-Band me~terial <br />has Kerogen in it necessitating the need to retrofit the plant). This <br />area is just north of the plant site. <br />2. Extensive area in middle of quarry which was mined pre - law i<_, included <br />in permit but not currently bonded. There is some discussion of <br />re-entering these areas to remove another cut of A-band materi~il. <br />3. Quarrying on most northern portion is about finished. Operator <br />considering making one more cut on 900 foot southern section. If not, <br />this area, plus northern 900 feet, to be reclaimed this fall. <br />4. Operator doing excellent job of stockpiling topsoil as far awa~~ from <br />quarry and then stockpiling overburden between topsoil pile and quarry. <br />This practice ensures separation of 2 stockpiles and allows for• easy <br />reclamation of site. <br />5. Only other quarrying at site is in northern part of middle are<r where <br />dragline is operating to obtain next cut of A-band material. <br />6. Financial Warranty of X432,000.00 should be adequate for this <.;ite (for <br />current activities). <br />7.
