III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology. Ross Gubka represented the operator. The ground was dry. With the operator's consent, <br />this report was issued from the Denver office. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS: <br />The mine's entrance gate on Road 2700 was recently relocated. The operator's representative <br />explained that a temporary sign at the entrance will be replaced soon with a permanent i.d. sign. The <br />representative reported by phone on 11/10/03 that a permanent sign had been installed. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: <br />Stream Flows -Calamity Draw was flowing no more than 2 or 3 cfs. No problems were found on the site. <br />
