The legal description of the mine site: <br />Portions of Sections 31, 32, T9S, R89W; <br />Portions of Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, <br />16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, T10S, R89W; <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, 23, 24, <br />25, T10S, R90W; <br />Portions of Section 36, T9S, R90W. <br />The permit area encompassed approximately <br />11,380 acres. The surface disturbance area coo <br />eyed 294 acres which have been reclaimed. <br />This decision is based on a complete inspection <br />and a written finding as required by Rule <br />5,02.2(8}(a) of the Golorado Surface Coal Mining <br />Reclamation Aet, Section 34 33 101, et seq., <br />C.R.S., and the regulations ppromulgated thereun- <br />der. Cppies of the written findin are on file for <br />public inspection at the Colorado Division of Rec- <br />lamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centenni- <br />al Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colo- <br />rado 80208, and at the County Clerk's Office in <br />Pitkin County, 506 Main Street, Aspen, 81611. <br />Persons with an interest that may be adversely af- <br />fected bythe proposed reduced inspection fre- <br />quency may submit written comments to Sandra <br />Brown within thirty (30) days of publication of this <br />notice. <br />Published in the Aspen Times Weekly on Septem- <br />be r 23, 2007.
