Comments - Compliance <br />Below are particular issues with regard to any of the compliance items. <br />Enforcement actions resulting from failure to comply with the Act, Rules <br />and Regulations, and the pennit also are identified below. <br />Signs and Markers (4.02) <br />The operator has placed a new mine identification and permit <br />number sign at the entrance to the mine. The operator is currently <br />surveying the permit area in preparation for the placement of permit <br />boundary markers. <br />Hydrologic.Balance (4.05) <br />The operator has not yet begun construction of pond A. The <br />operator has repaired the dewatering device in the shop sediment pond <br />(pond No. 7) and is currently working on reconstruction of pond K. <br />Backfilling and Grading (4.14) <br />` The operator has begun movement of material from the old CF&I <br />waste pile in order to construct a bench pad area for the new mine site. <br />Some of the material from the old CF&I pile was found to be on fire. The <br />operator spread the material in a thin layer in order to cool it off. <br />Availability of Records (5.02.4) <br />The operator is currently xeroxing all records in order to <br />maintain a~copy at the mine site. <br />
