<br />III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement <br />actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the <br />enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division <br />of Minerals and Geology. No one else was present. <br />Since resuming active status this summer, the Loadout has been minimally used for <br />parking and refueling a haul truck. The gates leading into the loadout were <br />locked.office parking. Approximately one foot of snow covered the ground and <br />limited inspection. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS <br />Mine entrance signs were properly displayed. <br />ROADS <br />The Tie-across Haul Road was in good shape. <br />The skid-mounted diesel fuel tank noted in the last several months' reports remains <br />in the parking area east of the office. <br />BOND COMPLIANCE <br />As part of the Midterm Permit Review, Part <br />Structures) and Part 4 of a Bond Compliance <br />completed. The forms are attached. <br />3 (Support Facilities/Hydrologic <br />Inspection (Structures/Facilities) were <br />LAND and MI**Friar. OWNERSHIP <br />Also as part of the Midterm Permit Review, land and mineral ownership records were <br />checked at the Routt County courthouse. The records show that a few ownership <br />changes have occurred recently adjacent to the permit boundary; consequently, <br />Exhibits 3-1 and 3-2 in the permit document will need to be updated. <br />Page 3 <br />
