On
October 18, 2000, Energy Fuels performed significant maintenance of the contour furrows. A
small dozer was used to recut and clean out all of the furrows that contained silt and/or had
shown signs of breaching. In total, approximately 80 percent of closed contour furrows were
maintained as stated. Tn addition, Energy Fuels removed sediment from the fiill length of
Refuse Collection Ditch No. 2.
Energy Fuels respectfully requests that the Division checks the fi~rrows on a subsequent
inspection to verify that the above work was done, and if additional maintenance is necessary.
Please contact me at your convenience if you have any questions or require additional
information.
Sincerely,
Energy Fuels Mining Company
L i~f~~"~
Allen S.
