III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE ~~.C C`-g/---D~~ <br />Below are comments on fhe inspection. The commenfs include discussion of o servations <br />made during the inspection, Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the GEC mine conducted by Jim Stark of CDMG. <br />The bond for this site has been forteited and reclamation was completed by DMG. <br />The weather was warm and sunny and the ground was dry. <br />The vegetation in the East and West Pit areas was starting to grow and turn green <br />with the onset of spring. Both pit areas appeared to be stable and in good <br />condition. The road going through the East Pit was stable and in good condition. <br />The riprap placed in the large gullies of the East Pit drainage remains stable. There <br />do not appear to be any new erosional problems in either the East or West Pit areas. <br />The vegetation at the Orphan Pit, Duck Pond and Tipple areas is also starting to turn <br />green and appears to be in good condition. There are no signs of erosion or other <br />problems at these sites. They appear to be stable and in good condition. The road <br />leading to these sites is the Corley Mountain Ranch road. The road is well maintained <br />and in good condition. <br />Overall the entire mine site is in good condition. <br />
