III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology. David Goff represented the operator. The ground was dry as there had been no <br />precipitation for a few days. <br />Roads <br />Roads were well maintained. <br />Hydroloaic Balance <br />Each one of the two ponds contained less than 2 feet of water. Embankments and inslopes appeared <br />stable. <br />Excess Spoil and Development Waste <br />The waste pile showed no evidence of instability. The outslope was not Bullied or rilled. Ditches <br />diverting water from the top of the pile were in good condition. <br />
