highway 133. The two magazines were inspected and found to be in good shape and containing
10-15 lbs. of explosives. The company was told to put a log book in each magazine to keep track
of all explosives that aze removed and returned to the magazines. The AN/FO drop trailer had
been removed from the property.
It was appazent that there was some level of miscommunication between the state inspectors and
the operator and/or contractor employees on site. It is recommended that any safety concerns
experienced on the site be immediately brought to the attention of the operator, Mr. Beaz, or the
contractor, Mr. Witt, and handled on the spot. Again, it was recommended that all visitors to the
site receive hazazd training.
Respectfully submitted,
W
J eph .Davies, State Inspector
I~/~~
William C. Yo - ,Mine Safety Program Supervisor
~ Z L~ !`
Date
c:\office\wpdocs\bowie2.
