Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during
the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
This was a partial inspection of the Hayden Gulch Mine conducted by Jim Stark of
CDMG. The mine site is reclaimed. The weather was warm and sunny and the
ground was dry.
Signs and Markers: All of the permit boundary and mine ID signs were posted.
Revegetation/Reclamation Success: The three shrub parcels are all doing well. The
shrubs are all green and appear to be in good condition. The grasses in the shrub
parcels are also green and appear to be doing well. The area where the underdrain
was installed in 1998 is also covered with grass.
Slides and Damage: The steel stakes that have been placed across the slump area
are all still in alignment. There was no discharge from any of the five underdrain
outlets.
