(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-90-057 <br />INSPECTION DATE 06/21/02 - INSPECTOR'S INITIALS ESC <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This was an inspection of the Hopemore and Leadville Mine conducted by Erica Crosby of the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology. Scott Hazlitt of Leadville Mining and Milling was present <br />during the inspection. <br />No mining was taking place during the inspection. The mine and mill have not been in use <br />for several years. Amine identification sign and permit boundary markers were noted at <br />the Hopemore Shaft site. <br />All miscellaneous material and equipment stored outside the permit boundary area have been <br />removed. The material has either been moved into the permit boundary area, or hauled off <br />site. The operator is in compliance with the problems noted in the September 28, 2001 <br />inspection report. <br />The mill area was not inspected. However, the operator has complied with problems noted <br />in the September 28, 2001 inspection report in regards to the inventory of reagents at the <br />mill, future storage of waste rock in the tailings pond and the outstanding stipulations <br />to the permit.
