:., <br />IV. Status of Problem Resolution <br />The following items concern problems identified •~t previous inspection. Pto6lems are classified <br />into three categories. These are: (1) problems resolved; (2) resolution still in process; and <br />(3) operator delinquent. The date that the problem is resolved or the date that the operator <br />is deemed delinquent is to be clearly stated. <br />Perimeter markers - Although some markers have been installed, the entire permit <br />oundary has not been marked. Also, in some locations, marker locations do not appear to <br />orrespond with the permit boundary as mapped. Anew abatement deadline of April 24, 1981 <br />as been set, by which time the boundary must be accurately and completely marked. ' <br />Topsoil markers - Problem resolved. <br />Drainage on north end of bench - problem resolved. <br />Road ditch draining the coal stockpile - problem resolved at the time of the followup <br />~spection on March 20, 1981. <br />Some work has been done on the diversion ditch from the mine bench to the sediment <br />ind since the last inspection. However, there are still a few points where the ditch <br />as breached which need to be repaired. This work must be completed by April 10, 1981. <br />The sediment pond at the bottom of the road has not been completed. The operator is <br />~linquent. However, since the present risk of environmental damage is extremely small, <br />ie abatement deadline has been extended to Aoril 24, 1981. <br />u ;ii <br />
