III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the inspection. Comments <br />also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Either Jerry Nettleton (Nettleton) or Scott Bowman of Twentymile Coal Company (Twentymile) accompanied <br />Byron Walker (Walker) of the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) during this inspection <br />of the Foidel Creek Mine. <br />There was about two to three Feet of snow at the site. Access to certain areas was restricted. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS <br />See the DMG Availability of Records check sheet attached. All records were found on file. <br />ROADS <br />Roads were wet and muddy but in good condition. Some roads were being continually maintained. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />There was no surface runoff noted during this inspection except for roadside ditches. Inspection of <br />impoundments was limited due to snow.
