Generally, Canada thistle <br />is sparse on the stockpile, but it is abundant at one location in an approximate one-foot wide part of <br />the ditch on the west side of the stockpile. There is not enough thistle at this location to be a concern <br />for the purpose of this bond release; however, ongoing weed control should be completed. <br />FISH AND WILDLIFE <br />No animals were sighted during the inspection, although many of the woody shrubs appear to have <br />been browsed. Droppings and what appear to be elk or deer hoof prints were found throughout the <br />site. (Elk, deer, grouse, and small birds have been spotted during previous inspections.) <br />The reclaimed areas had good vegetative cover that was dominated by grasses. The grasses were <br />approximately one-foot high. There were no large bare spots. <br />-5- <br />
