Joe Baltazar of Morgan County was present duri g the inspection. <br />Weather conditions on site were clear and windy. Ground conditions wer dry. <br />The 110 Mining and Reclamation Permit was issued to Morgan County on D cember 18, 1985 to <br />mine approximately 9.15 acres. No mining was taking place during the i spection. The pit <br />consists of a groundwater-exposed lake approximately 8 acres in size. it slopes have been <br />graded and vegetation is established along the banks. Any additional mi ing will take place <br />towards the south. The south end of the pit has not been adequately g aded to 3h:ly five <br />feet above and below the water elevation. Vegetation has not establish d on the south end <br />of the pond slope where steep grades exist. According to the Division's records, the <br />landowner (Erkers) purchased ten shares of the Pioneer Water and Irri ation Inc. and one <br />share of Capital Stock of the Jackson Lake Reservoir and Irrigation Co pany.
