Information will be supplied in [he
same sequence as listed in your report.
1. Anew survey map has been prepazed by Arkansas Valley Surveying of Buena Vista and is
attached for your files. This replaces the eazlier survey map by the same company, which did not
indicate the entire 9.5 A affected area, since i[ had not been determined a[ that time. I feel that the
surveyor has done an excellent job, which will make it easier for all of us involved to stay in
compliance. You will notice that 9.5 A is the affected azea which alleviates any concern about being
outside the permit area. Gary Reed indicates that present plans aze to get the boundazies mazked in
the coming week for easy visual location. I have taken the permit area out of the blueprint and put
in on an easier size to work with. Essential details have been highlighted.
2. Gary says he also plans [o address the separation and preservation of the topsoil stockpile next
week with at least a berm. The company understands the value of this topsoil in reclamation.
3. Attached is an updated reclamation cost proposal for this operation in the amount of $16,440.00.
The company feels that this will be adequate. Please advise us if you agree with this amount. If you
do, the company will start the process with their bonding company to supply this.
