Hettinger <br /> <br />RE: Colorado Gravel LLC Pit - File No. M-2022-053, Colorado Gravel LLC <br /> Surety Reduction Request (SR-1) <br /> Surety Reduction Request for Backfilling and Other Reclamation Tasks <br /> <br />Please be advised that on January 19, 2026, Colorado Gravel LLC, whose address and telephone number are <br />P.O. Box 187, Lamar, CO 81052; (719) 688-3668, filed an application for a/an Surety Reduction Request <br />(SR- 1) to M2022053, Colorado Gravel LLC Pit, which is located approximately 1.3 miles North of <br />Granada, Section 36, Township 22S, Range 44W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Prowers County. <br /> <br />Surety reduction for specific reclamation tasks (i.e., dewatering, backfilling, grading, ripping, and spreading <br />topsoil) within the 54.5-acre permit area. <br /> <br />Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained <br />from Katrina W. Hettinger at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 766-7687. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the <br />application review process.
