<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />December 31, 2025 <br /> <br /> <br />Chris Leone <br />J-2 Contracting Company <br />105 Coronado Ct., Unit A-101 <br />Fort Collins, Co 80525 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Hunt Irrigation Pond - File No. M-2022-050 <br /> J-2 Contracting Company <br /> Surety Release Request (SL-1) <br /> Full/Final Release Request <br /> <br />Dear Chris Leone: <br /> <br />On December 31, 2025 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety concluded its review of the <br />Surety Release Request application submitted to the Division on November 17, 2025, addressing the <br />following: <br /> <br />The Operator is requesting full release of the permit. <br /> <br />The decision reached by the Division is: Approve. <br /> <br />I am pleased to inform you that the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety has determined that J- <br />2 Contracting Company is eligible for release from further responsibility for the Hunt Irrigation Pond. <br />In accordance with Rule 4.17.2(5), the Division is required to wait thirty (30) days from this notice to <br />allow for appeal of the Division’s decision.
