Adequacy Review #5 Responses
December 2, 2025

1. The original plan was to remove poles with a helicopter which is very expensive. After
discussions with Ken, he can remove them with equipment on the ground which
significantly reduced the cost (also, the cost of 2000 a pole came from Ken). Seeding was
taken out but added back in for the potential disturbance of removal of these poles. It is
included in Exhibit L and clearly called out to reseed areas where poles are to be removed.
a. These are small electrical posts that can easily be removed so the price is much
lower on these. Grab with a piece of equipment and pull right out of the ground
without major disturbance.
b. There are 30 poles total, 14 located within area 18A (2 @ 30’ tall) and 16 additional
poles to connect to area 18A. This has now been cleaned up in Exhibit L with the
correct total. The original price per pole has not changed as this is what was
discussed with the contractor. I was going to add them all to the area 18A prices but
reverted to leaving the 16 additional poles in the misc breakdown.
c. Correct, please see explanation above about a breakdown of the poles (1.b)
d. Correct, there is a total of 62,256 LF of overhead line to remove and that number is
derived from 8 different lines @ 7, 782 LF. This differs from the original lump sum
price because we quantified it and provided more detail on the last submittal.
e. See pole explanation above. There are 30 total poles. This includes the H-braced
style poles and the cost associated was discussed with contractor to determine
pricing per pole which resulted in a different cost than what was previously
provided.
f. As stated above, I added the 16 H-Braced style poles back into the misc breakdown
for clarity. The price was derived from discussions with the contractor.
2. Tables now match.
3. Reviewed and revised, all numbers match. (Some numbers are combined in certain
exhibits, but totals are accurate)
4. 24 hours has been added to Exhibit L.
5. Hours have been added as well as cost for weed treatment of these areas.
