<br /> <br />NOTICE <br />Consideration of Construction Materials Reclamation Permit <br />Acreage Release Request <br /> <br />DATE: November 20, 2025 <br /> <br />TO: Steve Maestas <br />City of Westminster <br />6575 W 88thAvenue <br />Westminster, CO 80031 <br /> <br />FROM: Patrick Lennberg <br /> <br />RE: Baurer Pit - File No. M-2020-058, Holcim - WCR, Inc. <br /> Acreage Release Request (AR-1) <br /> Partial Acreage Release Request (AR-1) to Release 41.8 acres. <br /> <br />Please be advised that on November 20, 2025, Holcim - WCR, Inc., whose address and telephone number <br />are 1687 Cole Blvd., Suite 300, Golden, CO 80401; (303) 985-1070, filed an application for a/an Acreage <br />Release Request (AR- 1) to M2020058, Baurer Pit, which is located approximately 1 miles Northwest of <br />Brighton, Section 36, Township 1N, Range 67W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County. <br /> <br />Partial acreage release request of 41.8 acres from the Baurer Pit that have been mined and will be reclaimed <br />under the ajoining Wattenberg Lakes permit (M2004-051). The release will reduce the Baurer Pit to 37.6 <br />acres. <br /> <br />Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained <br />from Patrick Lennberg at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 665-0836. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the <br />application review process.
