Exhibit H
Wildlife Information
JD-8 Mine Permit Amendment
M-1984-014
The lower mine permit area located on the privately owned, patented Doagy No 2 and
Opera Box claims has already had most of the permitted area disturbed by either mine
waste disposal or removal of soil material prior to being used for mine waste disposal.
A Threatened and Endangered Species(T &E) study was done prior to surface
disturbance in the JD-8 portal area. No T& E species were noted.
A T& E study will be done prior to future surface disturbance at the upper mine permit
area. Appropriate considerations will be taken depending on the results of those studies
once they have been completed.
The mine waste rock area in the lower mine permit area is very small relative to the
foraging range for all of the wildlife of concern in that area, which significantly reduces
the potential exposure levels to any constituents of concern that may leach out of the
mine waste rock.
After miningis finished the permitted affected areas will be recontoured, have available
stockpiled soil material spread over the re-contoured areas, then re-vegetated to provide
rangeland at a minimum that is comparable to the surrounding areas.
O
JD-8 Amendment Ex H H-1
