<br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on September 9, 2025, a minor revision application (MR-55) to <br />the King Coal Mine, Permit No. C-1981-035, operated by GCC Energy, LLC, 6473 County Road 120, <br />Hesperus, CO 81326 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. GCC Energy, LLC is proposing <br />Minor Revision No. 55, which updates the liability insurance required by the permit. The applicant is not <br />proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. All <br />reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate <br />from this date of filing. The revision application, as well as all other permit documents, can be viewed at <br />https://dnrweblink.state.co.us/drms/search.aspx by searching C1981035 in the “Permit No” field.
