<br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on September 4, 2025, a minor revision application (MR-212) <br />to the Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C-1996-083, operated by Bowie Resources, LLC, P.O. Box 1488, <br />Paonia, CO 81428 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. This revision requests a variance <br />to the approved reclamation plan. If approved, it will allow Bowie Resources, LLC to not regrade, topsoil <br />or seed the following: pads for gob vent boreholes GVB-B17D, GVB-B17E, and GVB-B17F; Roads 17E <br />and 17F. The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently <br />approved for disturbance. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations <br />promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing.
