<br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on August 11, 2025, a minor revision application (MR-230) to <br />the Trapper Mine, Permit No. C-1981-010, operated by Trapper Mining, Inc., P.O. Box 187, Craig, CO <br />81626 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. Minor Revision (MR-230) includes revisions <br />to Maps M10A and M10B to include additional highwall mining areas within the L-Pit area. These areas <br />were previously demonstrated on the attached maps but were omitted in the PR-12 application. With this <br />update, there will be an additional 12.7 acres of affected area but no new acres of surface disturbance. <br />The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the area currently approved for <br />disturbance. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this date of filing.
