RULE 4 PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br /> <br />South Taylor – Rule 4, Page 1 Revision Date: 7/21/25 <br /> Revision No.: MR-267 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RULE 4 – PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br /> <br />4.02 SIGNS AND MARKERS <br /> <br />4.02.1 Specifications <br /> <br />Colowyo has posted and will maintain all signs and markers required by this section. All of the signs are of <br />uniform design and can be easily seen or read. The signs are made either of metal or wood; they are durable <br />enough to withstand extreme climatic conditions that are inherent at the operations. The signs conform to <br />local ordinances and codes. <br /> <br />Colowyo will maintain signs and markers during the conduct of all activities to which they pertain. <br /> <br />4.02.2 Mine and Permit Identification Signs <br /> <br />Please see Section 4.02.2 in Volume 1. <br /> <br />4.02.3 Perimeter Markers <br /> <br />Please see Section 4.02.3 in Volume 1. <br /> <br />4.02.4 Duration of Maintenance <br /> <br />Colowyo will maintain signs and markers throughout the life of the operation or post new signs and markers <br />as necessary. <br /> <br />4.02.5 Stream Buffer Zone Markers <br /> <br />Please see Section 4.02.5 in Volume 1. <br /> <br />4.02.6 Blasting Signs <br /> <br />Please see Section 4.02.6 in Volume 1. <br /> <br />4.02.7 Topsoil Markers <br /> <br />Colowyo clearly marks all stockpile topsoil with signs reading “Topsoil.” <br /> <br />4.03 ROADWAYS <br /> <br />The following sections deal with roads defined per Rule 1.04 (111). <br /> <br />4.03.1 Haul Roads <br /> <br />The construction, location, and maintenance of haul road “A” (4 mile roadway from pit area to Gossard <br />Loadout) and haul road “B” (1.4 mile roadway from Highway 13 to haul road “A”) is discussed in the <br />existing permit document. These roads will continue to be used as part of the South Taylor mining area. <br />Refer to the existing permit document for details regarding these haul roads. <br />
