The application was submitted by Peabody Sage Creek Mining,LLC on <br /> February 19,2025 for the Peabody Sage Creek Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b)of the Rules and <br /> Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining,we are providing notice of this <br /> proposed decision. <br /> Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br /> hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the date following the first publication <br /> of the public notice by the Division in the Colorado Mountain News Media-Steamboat Pilot. <br /> The underground mine is located approximately 9 miles Southeast of Hayden. The permit area is further <br /> described as follows: <br /> Township 5 North,Range 87 West,all or portions of Sections 1,2,3,4,5,8,9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16,21 <br /> and 22;Township 6 North,Range 87 West,all or portions of Sections 27,28,29,32,33,34,35 and 36 <br /> Copies of the renewal application are available for public review at the Routt County Clerk and Recorder, <br /> 136 6th Street,Steamboat Springs,CO 80477.
