Gibson <br /> <br />RE: Bradford Mesa Quarry - File No. M-2019-046, Southway Construction Company, Inc. <br /> Surety Reduction Request (SR-1) <br /> Surety Reduction Request <br /> <br />Please be advised that on July 25, 2025, Southway Construction Company, Inc., whose address and <br />telephone number are 117 White Pine Drive, Alamosa, CO 81101; (719) 589-5103, filed an application for <br />a/an Surety Reduction Request (SR- 1) to M2019046, Bradford Mesa Quarry, which is located <br />approximately 7 miles Northeast of Walsenburg, CO, Section 36, Township 26S, Range 66W, 06th <br />Principle Meridian, in Huerfano County. <br /> <br />“Southway Construction Company, Inc., would like to request a surety reduction for the above- referenced <br />site following the approval of TR- 1. Through the TR- 1, the updated DRMS calculated bond should be <br />$220,129. The current bond held is $534,185. This would be a reduction of $314,056.” <br /> <br />Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained <br />from Amber M. Gibson at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 836-0967. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the <br />application review process. The Division is required to provide a thirty (30) day period following a decision <br />on the release application to allow for appeals to its decision. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
