NOTICE Consideration of 110c Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Application DATE: July 30, 2025 TO: Town Mayor Town of Eckley Box 217 Eckley, CO 80727 RE: Newton Pit, File No. M-2025-024 Please be advised that on July 30, 2025, Yuma County, whose address and telephone number are 1310 Blake Street, Wray, CO 80758; (970) 332-5718, filed an application to conduct a(n) Surface mining and reclamation operation, at or near Section 3, Township 1N, Range 46W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Yuma County. Please be advised that the permit area may be located in more than one Section, Township, and Range. Affected lands will be reclaimed to support a(n) Pastureland post-mining land use. The application decision date is scheduled for August 29, 2025. A copy of the application is available for review at the Yuma County Clerk & Recorder's office and at the office of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety.
