<br /> <br />Public Notice <br /> <br /> <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado <br />Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on July 15, 2025, a minor revision application (MR-54) to the <br />King Coal Mine, Permit No. C-1981-035, operated by GCC Energy, LLC, 6473 County Road 120, <br />Hesperus, CO 81326 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. GCC Energy is proposing a <br />Minor Revision to update the King Mine’s Permit with information addressing adequacy questions <br />identified during the Division’s Midterm Review No. 9. The applicant is not proposing additional surface <br />disturbance outside of the area currently approved for disturbance. All reviews and comment periods as <br />provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing. The revision <br />application, as well as all other permit documents, can be viewed at <br />https://dnrweblink.state.co.us/drms/search.aspx by searching C1981035 in the “Permit No” field.
