The application was submitted by Seneca Property LLC on February <br />5, 2025 for the Yoast Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed <br />decision. <br /> <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of date following the first publication of <br />the public notice by the Division in the Colorado Mountain News Media -Steamboat Pilot. <br /> <br />The surface mine is located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br /> <br />T6N, R87W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 <br /> T5N, R87W, All of Section 17; Portions of Sections 5, 8, 16, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30 <br /> <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review at the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. <br />Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, CO 81639. A Copy of the Division's “Proposed Decision and Findings of <br />Compliance” is available at Routt County Clerk and Recorder, 522 Lincoln Ave Ste 21, Steamboat Springs, <br />CO 80487.
