Double check the sample bottle labels against the chain of custody. <br /> 5. Print the pre filled ground water or surface water analytical request form, <br /> dependent on types of samples being submitted. <br /> 6. Place COC and analytical request form in plastic bag inside the cooler to be <br /> shipped. <br /> a. Multiple COC's can be sent in one cooler. Ensure that each COC is inside the <br /> plastic bag with the corresponding samples. <br /> 7. After inspection of samples and comparison to COC, place samples in cooler, along <br /> with adequate contained ice to keep samples within the hold temperatures during <br /> shipment. <br /> 8. If needed use packing material to fill spaces in cooler that contained ice too large <br /> to fill. <br /> 9. Close cooler lid and use 2 inch clear packaging tape to secure both ends of cooler, <br /> wrap tape multiple times around the ends of cooler, followed by strapping tape. <br /> 10. Attach a preprinted shipping label to the top of cooler, place shipment <br /> • identification sticker on copy of COC. <br /> 11.
