Modeled peak run off was calculated for at least the 500-year/24-hour storm event. <br /> Diversion channels were designed around the facilities to convey water off the facilities. <br /> Additionally, channels on the facilities benches will be constructed ever 150 vertical feet to convey <br /> water to the diversion channels. Channels will have side slopes of 2.5H:1V and were designed <br /> as either triangular or trapezoidal cross sections and a minimum of 1 foot of freeboard.
